HyperXCloud Core Headphones

HyperX makes one of the best headsets on the market. The Cloud Core is great value for money. The sound quality is excellent and although they are in stereo configuration, the spatial experience is quite good. You can pinpoint the source of sounds around you.

The cushions are large and oval shaped so they don't exert too much pressure on the cartilage. The cushions are covered in PU leather and its soft to touch. The build quality is good as you can expect from HyperX.

The headphones operate on 2.4ghz and comes with its own dongle so the latency is quite low and perfect for gaming.

The battery life is around 20 hours and supports fast charging via USB-C. You can't use them in wired mode though as the USB port is for power only.

Most importantly though, the mic quality is quite good. This is the are where many headphones compromise. The mic is also detachable so if you don't need it, it won't get in the way.

The headphones also don't look too "gamer-y" so if you want, you can wear them in public for a long flight or road trip and you'll not attract eyes.

For someone who is into gaming, this is an excellent gift.
